Self Sufficiency Scheme

State Government recognized the community participation in collaborative decision-making, mediation, community building and consensus building to ensure an open and accountable process through which the individuals and groups could exchange views and promote useful community assets. Hence as a measure to promote public participation in Government Schemes, this Government has re introduced the Self Sufficiency Scheme in 2011-12.
For the year 2017-18, a sum of Rs.10.83Lakhs has been received as public contribution for the construction of building to anganwadi centres, construction of compound wall and works were sanctioned to the value of Rs.36.505Lakhs which includes Govt. grant of Rs.21.67 Lakhs and Rs.4.00 Lakhs from other scheme funds.
