Applications were invited under the National Health Mission – Tamil Nadu (NHM-TN) for filling up vacant Temporary / Contract Staff Nurse posts in the Government Medical College and Hospital, Government Hospitals and Government Primary Health Centres in Krishnagiri District. The applications received have been scrutinized, and the application details have been published on the Krishnagiri District website for the applicants to verify their details.

The “Thanthai Periyar Award for Social Justice”, instituted in 1995 to honour those who have worked for social justice, will be presented for the year 2026.

The award carries a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, a one-sovereign gold medal and a certificate of merit. Individuals who have worked for social justice and contributed to improving the quality of life of the general public may submit their applications to the District Collector.

The application should include the applicant’s profile, complete address, telephone number, details of work undertaken for social justice, and supporting documents.

Last date for receipt of applications by the District Collector: 20.10.2026.
