Menstrual Hygiene Programme

Menstrual Hygiene programme promotes menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls in the age group of 10-19 yrs, Primarily in rural areas.

This programme comes under Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram(RKSK).

3 packs of Sanitary Napkin are issued to all puberty attained adolescents. Each pack has 6 pads. The napkin are issued in 6 rounds.(with in 2 months once).

School going adolescents will receive napkin from the school nodal teachers.

Non-school going adolescents will receive napkin through ASHA/VHN/AWW.
