Criteria for selecting Peer Educators

  • In every village (1000 population/ASHA habitation), 4 PE – 2 male and 2 female PE will be selected based on the recommendation/nomination of ASHA and the school teacher.
  • 2 peer educators (one male and one female) – school going to work with adolescents in school
  • 2 peer educators (one male and one female) – out of school to work with adolescents out of school.
  • Should be of 14-19 years of age
  • preferably 8th std. among school going

Eligibility Condition

10 to 19 years children’s can avail of these Benefit. The Service is Available in CHC (Community Health Centre)/BLOCK PHC (Primary Health Centre) :Weekly AFHCs – On every Saturdays 9 am to 4 pm

DH (District Head Quarters)/SDH(Sub District Head Quarters) :Daily AFHCs – On all days from 11 am to 2 pm
