In Employment Exchanges, Registration for employment seekers, Renewal of registration, registration of additional qualification, Address change, Submission of candidates to the vacancies notified to the exchange by the employers, Collection of Employment Market Information, Sanction of Unemployment Assistance amount to the unemployed youth, Guidance to various candidates regarding their employment opportunities, higher studies, self-employment, scholarships, competitive examinations, career selection, etc., inside and outside the premises of Employment Exchange. All the above work are done by online in the website www.tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in. Employment Exchange activities are free service.

Every Friday, private job fairs are organized in the Employment Exchange premises. Private Employers and job seekers can participate in this job fair, free of cost. Appointment orders are issued immediately, on the day of job fair itself. Selected candidate’s registration numbers will not be cancelled. Both employers and job seekers can register themselves in the web portal www.ncs.gov.in. By such registration, job seekers and employers can participate in the job fairs conducting all over India, by seeing the details posted in that website.

Unemployment Assistance Scheme

Assistance will be given for 10 years for the differently abled person and 3 years for others.

Eligibility Condition

The applicant should not get any financial help from any private institutions. He/she should not be the regular student of any educational Institution. This condition is not applicable to study through distance education or correspondence course. The above conditions fulfilled candidates are asked to contact the District Employment Office with Employment ID card to avail this Scholarship.
