Priceless Sewing Machines

In order to improve the economic condition of the people belongs to Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities the scheme of distribution of Sewing Machines is being implemented every year.

Eligibility Condition

• Beneficiaries should belong to Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities and should have knowledge in tailoring and the age limit is from 20 to 45 years.
• The annual income limit of the beneficiaries should be within Rs.72,000/-
• The beneficiaries who have obtained Sewing Machines through the Department of Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme are not eligible under this scheme.

Procedure to obtain the benefit/Service

The beneficiaries should submit their relevant forms particularly income, residential, community and tailoring certificate Xerox copies in the DBCW Office, Krishnagiri.
