Subsidy for the construction of Rearing Sheds

Subsidy for constructing new rearing shed is the main and major support to farmers towards encouraging them to do silk worm rearing in modern methodologies.

Eligibility Condition

Any Farmer who has Mulberry garden and constructed a new rearing shed under prescribed guidelines can avail this benefit as follows

• Rearing Shed – Level I (1500 Sq.ft.) – Rs 82500
• Rearing Shed – Level II (1200 Sq.ft.) – Rs 87500
• Rearing Shed – Level III (900 Sq.ft.) – Rs 63000

Procedure to obtain the benefit/Service

• Filled in application recommended by JIS, IS, AD
• Farmer’s passport size photograph – 3
• Farmer’s full size photo taken at the stages of basement, lintel, full shape and in the interior of the shed, mulberry garden – 2 copies each
• Chitta and adangal of the mulberry garden
• Engineer’s certificate of evaluation and shed’s map
• Bond of agreement in the stamp paper of Rs.100
• Adhaar card xerox, ration card xerox, Bank passbook xerox – each 2copies
