The District Sports Complex at Krishnagiri today sports a great look thanks to a novel concept introduced by the District Administration. The concept called "Fund in Perpetuity" has allowed the Public to become Life members of the Officers Club by paying Rs.1.00 lakh by cheque, for which they are issued with a receipt which explicitly states that this is a refundable contribution and can be withdrawn after a lock in period of 1 year.

We have created a corpus of Rs.1.00 crore from 94 people,  which has been deposited in a nationalized bank. This corpus cannot be touched. Only the interest which accrues @ of Rs.85,000/- per month can be used for maintenance and other activities with the resolution of the Executive Committee of the Officers Club. The General Body meets every month to take decisions.

For the last one year coaches appointed for Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Hockey, Judo and Kun-fu impart training to more than 200 children in these disciplines. A Landscapist ensures that the 18 acre plot is kept green and beautiful. About 20 gardeners assist the Landscapist. Infrastructure for 18 disciplines is available in this facility.

This is in addition to the over Rs.1.00 crore worth of work sponsored by different individuals, agencies and institutions.  Work on a Roller Skating Rink and a Children Traffic park will commence shortly by IOC and L&T respectively.

Rs.1.00 Crore for Government Headquarters Hospital , Krishnagiri

Rs.1.00 crore has been raised similarly from 100 people and deposited in the Krishnagiri Government Headquarters Hospital Maintenance Society fund.

The work of maintaining the hospital and its premises has been entrusted to a Professional agency and they are doing a great job of it.
